SKILLS DEVELOPMENT: TAG on a Mountain Bike

During MBSAR (Mountain Bike Search and Rescue) training it is important to put in supplementary riding skill practice.

Do you know one that combines slow riding with quick turns and balance in a confined area? We do.

This one called MBSAR Tag on a Mountain Bike.

Organisers place high vis vests or cones or bage on four corners to set a perimeter and then you get the MBSAR Operators to play tag and the object is to stay ON the bike (feet touch the floor they are out) and not get tagged (or they are out! www.MountainBikeSAR.com)

This video features one of the courses we ran in the United Kingdom. Instructors are Gary Foo and Martin nash of MIAS (Mountain Bike Instructor Scheme.)
